Friends Make Life So Much Better!

Since becoming a writer, I've met so many wonderful people that my heart sings. There is never a dull moment in my day when I'm not working on my promotions, marketing, social networking, writing, and so on that one of my new friends comes to mind. Now I'll be blessed with the chance to meet them online on BlogTalkRadio.com/RedRoseAuthors since my sister Kali Willows and I will be hosting the new show beginning on November 22 at 2-3pm! It's the best job I've ever had. Thanks to the Internet I'm meeting friends all over the world without stepping outside of my home. What a savings on gas! Happy reading and writing. Being Shy Doesn't Make You Famous!

I've spent the past 8 years hiding in my home due to illness. Now that I'm a published author, there are responsibilities for me to get out and do book signings, promote, do interviews at local papers, go on BlogTalkRadio shows, and so on... After being agoraphobic for so long, it's like trying to crank a block of hardwood through a butter churn. Not easy. However, the more I do it, the more exciting it gets. The only fly in the ointment (I use the example of a fly because I have one buzzing around my desk annoying the daylights out of me) is finding enough time to fit it all into a well oiled machine as well as continue to write. Good health is a blessing that many don't appreciate until it's gone. Each day I get a little better. Somedays are better than others, however, I just keep putting one foot in front of the other and head on full steam ahead. Life is getting more wonderful as each day goes by. If I was asked what I would do if I only had one day left

Six years of professional writing. Ouch my fingers!

It's worth every cramp in my hands to type away on my stories and see them posted on the http://www.redrosepublishing.com/ site! I'm so excited to have 'SMALL PACKAGES-A CHRISTMAS STORY' being released on December 10th. .What a great Christmas gift! Paula and Derek are mature adults who find love and romance on the high seas after losing their beloved spouses. Only the fear of loving again keeps them apart...for all of five minutes after they meet on board a cruise ship in the Caribbean. How romantic is that? This one is purely romance, my friends. It doesn't matter if you are 18 or 180 and want to read it, I'm sure it will light the fires of your heartstrings. I cried, I laughed, I sat on the edge of my seat while writing it. I fell in love with my characters. Writing is my greatest love, after my family of course. What do you love about a good romance novel?
